| Meeting Places: 1) In the small parking lot on the east side of Bluff Creek Trail in Chaska between Pioneer Trail and Hwy #212. 2) at Miller Park Ballfields. 3) Dunn Bros Coffee 8107 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, MN Our starting location varies, so check the web site to be sure to meet at the appropriate place. There is an outhouse at the Bluff Creek trail head, but no water available at the Bluff Creek Trailhead. Water and outhouses are available at Riley Park and Miller Park during summer months. Both of these parks are just to the north of the trail with trail segments branching off and into the parks. . Route: This is an abandoned railroad trail. An out-and-back run. Other things to know: On a hot day, this trail is extremely hot because it is often sheltered from wind/breeze. On a cool or windy day, this is a nice place to run. This trail is an active exercise location enjoyed by runners, walkers and bikers. It is well maintained and relatively flat. The hills are there, but the incline is gradual with the exception of the area crossing Hwy #212 near the Bluff Creek trailhead. |
